National PRIME RIB Day!

What are you making for dinner?

I didn't even know this holiday was a thing but I'm so f*cking glad it is! Today, April 27th is National Prime Rib Day and I seriously urge you to celebrate!

Considered one of the tastiest cuts of beef, Prime Rib has been a delicacy for centuries in places like the United States, The U.K., and Australia, and rightfully so. When cooked properly it's tender and flavorful leaving you with a rich buttery beefy flavor. It's so delicious restaurants have been built around and named after the cut, like Lawry's Prime Rib.

Because of its popularity, prices for prime rib can be a bit on the high end which is why most people opt to only cook it for special occasions like Christmas dinner but if you time your purchase right you can get your hands on some beef from your local grocer for cheap - check around the beginning of the week when new sales start. Butchers or meat markets often have deals as well since they have a limited time to move the product.

If you have a lil' extra cash today, go celebrate and treat yo self to a delicious beefy meal tonight! And if you want to make it at home, check out the video below.

Happy Eating!
