Beef Stew - Slow Cooker Style

(This Shit Is So Beefy!)

4 lbs of chuck steak or stew meat

4 large potatoes - quartered

1 large carrot  - sliced 1 inch thick

1 whole onion - quartered

Seasonings:

2 tablespoons of salt

1 tablespoon of pepper

2 tablespoons of garlic

2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon of Cajun Seasoning

1 cup of red wine

2 cups of broth

1 cup of water

2 Bay Leaves

¼ cup of flower

1 tablespoon of butter

  1. First, get that crockpot out from the back of the cupboard and turn the heat on high.

  2. Once it's hot, add the butter and let it simmer until until melted, then sprinkle in the flour and whisk. You can also melt the butter in the microwave if you're short on time.

  3. The butter-flour mix should become paste-like, once that happens add the liquids and continue whisking until the paste starts to thin.

  4. Now it’s time to dump everything in. Add all of your veggies, spices, and meat and stir generously.

  5. Cover and leave that bitch alone for the next 4 to 5 hours. Check in after the 3rd hour to make sure your veggies are softening and taste the liquid to see if you need to add salt or pepper to taste.

You’ll know it's ready when you can no longer resist the smell filling your house.
